Walter A. Wilson, III is Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Underwriting Counsel for the Strategic Market Services (SMS) division of Fidelity National Title Insurance Company. He joined the SMS division in 2003 to concentrate on national lender business and quickly evolved into handling cell tower transactions. Since its acquisition by Fidelity in 2008, the SMS division has continued its growth. In that time, Walter has been involved with many single tower site transactions and some of the largest cell tower transactions, one being more than 5,600 tower sites across 43 states.

Walter has provided attorney MCLE seminars for credit in over ten states. Over the decades he has created numerous seminars on many real estate topics from the basics of title insurance to specific subjects such as judgments, surveys, entity requirements, 1031 exchanges, and ethical issues in the real estate transaction. Recently Walter created a comprehensive program geared towards the cell tower industry that has applications to all other types of real estate transactions.
